Mobile Medical Clinics

There is a medical office in El Llano, and the Clinic of Hope in Rosa La Piedra, but there are many villages and many miles in between. Mobile medical clinics take the care directly to the people in over 20 villages. At each clinic adults have blood pressures and blood sugars checked, their pulse taken, and can see a doctor. There is also a pharmacy where they can get prescriptions filled. Children are weighed and given vitamins. If a child is found to be severely malnourished they may be transported (with parental permission) to the Nutrition Center run by the Missionaries of Charity.
